Ok, first of all, for one of the best episodes so far in this season...this one is it. This episode is the first one to start revealing things about the characters, and it's beginning to take a turn to tell us more behind who they are. In this case, this episode was dedicated to our dear Ria Torres.

But as for an over all, 'I know when you're lying' episode, it was ok. I found it predictible to watch, because I knew how it ended half way through, picking up on clues that they dont put in zoom for you has become a habit to me now. But the acting was amazing! As always, Tim Roth did a great job potraying Cal, and in this episode they left us hanging on a dramatic close up with him revealing signs of anger, sadness and disgust. (Ria certainly knows how to turn the tables on him!)
Eli seems to have found his spot in this show, always the one digging up videos, only for us to see them in the first 3 scenes of each episode. So I think that until his time comes to reveal something personal, we will see him in the same 2 rooms all the time.
Now, as for what we learned on Ria, she deffinatly has an interesting character, and it won't just be left alone after this episode. We will continue to learn more about her, and her 'relationship' with her family, and how Cal treats her as an 'equal', but only if he's up to accepting that she MAY be better than him at his job. (I mean, the guy didn't sacrifice 20 years of his life working undercover only to be snuffed out by a natural like Ria), but overall, this episode deffinatly got my heart racing.
(Maybe it was all of the amazing shots of Tim) haha

Great article! I'm dying to find out what Cal's secrets are! I found the episode somewhat predictable, but like you said the parts revealing more about the main characters was very interesting!

Nice:) What i found odd was how Torres showed sadness somewhere in the beginning, dont know exactly where, but it after Cal said something....
*shrug*
Im looking forward to learning more about Torres's past, and hopefully some of Cal's. And for me, no episode is ever predictable, because i learned that i start predicting stuff, it starts gettting less enjoyable. Its one of the few things i can easily help :) and im glad i can.
Loved the emotional moments between Cal and Ria at the end and near the end. And i hope we can dig into to Loker's character alittle bit in future episodes. I've never actually seen him alittle angry until this episode, when he was arguing with Foster about something, forgot what, something about hazing... and probably in Love Always. NOt to sure about that one though.
