Based on the BBC series about a present-day police detective who gets into a car crash and finds himself in 1973, where he's still a detective, but things are 35 years different.
I'm having trouble with the fact that it seems EXACTLY the same as the British one, but in the US. Why not just show the UK version? Oh yeah, I suppose that seeing that lace in that era is half the attraction.
