Hell No! I love LOTR they're my favorite books and movies. I've seen all the bonus features and have watched a documentary type thing about how all three of the movies were made. If that isn't true love for it than I don't know what is. They're excellent and brilliantly written books, J.R.R. Tolkien was a genious and for his works I am forever grateful! =]
