Has anybody heard of J,R,R Tolkiens other books?

I just recently bought a book entitled "The Silmerillian".
It is a book by: J.R.R Tolkien about Eru and the Ainur, and all of the children of Eru. It pre-dates Middle-Earth and tells you how the lands of Middle-Earth came to be. J.R.R rote about how Melkor, one of the Valor, became jealeous of the others and let rage grow withing himself. Melkor turned evil and thus began the great wars of old. Sure enough after Melkor had perished, Sauron became the ruler of evil.

I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is really interested in the history of Middle-Earth.

I have tried to read Silmarillion but there are some things that I don't really understand there. You should read "Unfinished Tales", I think it's much more interesting:D It's about Numenor, Galadriel and Celeborn, Erebor, the Palantiri and a lot of things about Gandalf.

I read The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Children of Hurin and LOTR, and I can say that Silmarillion is my favorite. I love the first part, when Arda was created. I already got some other books around the web but didn't read them yet.
