Medical mystery drama featuring Dr. Jack Gallagher, a radically unorthodox psychiatrist who becomes Director of Mental Health Services at an LA hospital
I am a huge House fan I thought that this show was going to be a rip off of House.
I was pleasantly surprised. There are some similarities..
Dr.Gallagher approach to mental illness is similar to House's approach to medicine. Its a puzzle. A puzzle can only be solved by putting one in the shoes of the patient..
Sending part of his staff to investigate where the patient lived..One of his staff even made the comment "i'm a doctor not a detective."
The Gallagher's boss that has a romantic history him. Well that part screems Huddy. But that's just me.
The main character Gallagher only similarity with House is that he sees his cases as puzzles. Gallagher's past his sister in particular has something to do with why he became a psychiatrist.(thats what i think anway)
The show could be a good show i believe.
It will be a good filler til House returns for season 6 in September. It could become more than a filler..
Thoughts anyone else?
funny, i was thinking Huddy the whole time too.
i like Gallagher's way of problem solving, like how he got that guy, Vincent, i think is his name, to go with him and clam down in the beginning by stripping:) and i like how when that woman wasnt home to answer the door he just broke in to get what he needed.
