do you mean "do you like him because of his death'? 'cause if you do, it's a complicated issue with me. I mean, i had like 5 of his songs before and they all had loads of plays, but i wouldn't say i was that into him. but then he died and i guess i just really got into it in a big way. First i watched David Gest's top 40 MJ videos (Which he did last year because he turned 50...) and i really, really liked all the songs, so i got them. And then David Gest did some back story during that, and after what he said about him i kinda thought well why would a person like that do something like that which he was convicted for? So i read loads of articles on it during the last week, watched videos about him, etc etc, because i liked his music so much i kinda wanted to know the truth behind his life.
So i suppose you could say it was his death that got me really liking him and his work, but it wasn't because he died that i like him?

His death for me is like a big stone in my heart...To say i'm sorry is saying nothing...I feel the pain because of his death, i am ill because of it...
I think it's impossible to love him because of his death..He deserved to be loved, he had been always given his love to us...

I always liked Michael Jackson. He truly is a musical genius. But, I really only remembered that I liked him because of his death. So, basically, I am kinda a fan because of his death.

I've always liked MJ and The Jackson 5 to some extent, but when all this happened i heard songs on the news that I'd never heard before. i've always been a Michael Jackson fan and have grown up with his music, but i think now he's gone i've realised just how talented he really was and how much of an impact he has made not only in music but on the world. He inspired many and truly loved his family and friends around him may he rest in peace.
