Damn it Hollywood
This is my first soapbox and hopefully not my last.As I love Fanpop and it's members.Well down to the main point.I just want to point out that Hollywood is killing off the film industry. All today's films that get publicised are all recycled junk.Either Remakes or sequels or based on something.
Lets look at some of the films out now.
We have the Golden Compass,Hitman and the Mist.
We already have 2 based on books and the other is based on a game. Now i can't talk much about the mist and it has not been slated by critics. The Golden Compass however I haven't seen this but Critics are showing no mercy. Now hitman I have seen and it is rubbish. This is just from one week.An average one.
So lets look at the Summer Blockbusters from this year
Here are just some.
The Bourne Ultimatum.POTC:At World's end.Spiderman 3.Order of the Phoenix.Shrek 3.Simpsons Movie.Oceans 13.Rush Hour 3.Transformers.28 weeks later.Fantstic Four 2.Evan Alighty.Die Hard 4.0,Ratatouille and Halloween.

Okay,

So I'm one of those people that will sit through a 2 and a half hour movie and come out thinking and talking of just one split second. It's usually something other's find completely insignificant but I just see the whole movie summed up in that small section, like in Pride and Prejudice when Darcy helps Elizabeth into the carriage, (if you don't know what i'm talking about I've added a clip: www.fanpop.com/spots/romantic-movie-moments/videos/905124)It's the most simple flex of the hand but it expresses everything that he and the audience are going through. It's beautiful.

Why? Probably coz I'm a hopeless romantic and I love how they can produce such a great emotion or feeling in such a small amount of time.

It's that one moment that gives you the hope and feeling that you leave the cinema, couch or chair with, and carry around all day, and that's why we all have such a passion for the film's we love.

After Transformer's great success, apparently in Holywood likes the idea of doing movies inspired in animated series from the 80 and 90.

This one is a list of possible live action movies.

- THUNDERCATS: Set against a backdrop juxtaposing science-fiction and fantasy elements, the ThunderCats series tells a good-versus-evil tale of mythic proportions, featuring an equal mix of high-technology and magic, hand-to-hand combat, and a central core of championed values. Its anthropomorphic heroes, the ThunderCats, are pitted against a rag-tag assortment of villains and a demonic wizard named Mumm-Ra on a planet known as Third Earth. www.filmdetail.com/archives/2007/06/06/thundercats-mov...ks/

- SPEED RACER: Hurtling down the track, careening around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is a natural behind the wheel. Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized—the legendary Rex Racer—whose death in a race has left behind a legacy...
