Mr. Darcy, while shy and usually misunderstood by others, is a very sweet person, I think. He really cared for Lizzy, took care of her, and has nice manners. I think all girls should hope to one day marry a Mr. Darcy.

Mr. Darcy is not perfect. That is what I find so appealing about him. He has both the desirable and undesirable traits that most men have. The reason why he stands out among all the other men in the fictional world is because of his ability to admit his faults and his willingness and persistence to do right to those he has wronged. The fact that his character has flaws gives me the chance to hope that men like him exist in the real world. :]
