Sorry I couldn't limit it to ten, but there is something I love about each of these songs that I wanted to share with you. This a countdown, ending with number one which is the best love song. First I will name the song, then give some excerpts, and finally tell you why I choose it. If you don't see your favorite song on this list please don't just leave the article without reading it. Many of these songs you may not have heard of because they are less well known, but I think if you read some of these lyrics you will understand why I chose them.
And now the countdown starts:
11. Teardrops On My Guitar
Excerpts
And there he goes so perfectly
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's just so funny
That I can't even see anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

I decided to make a list of music that I'd recommend people give a chance. My taste in music is eclectic, so there's no specific genre but I'll include a link to a sample for each artist. I've decided to leave off some of the bigger names and stick with lesser known artists that I think deserve a chance.
1. Tom Waits Hold On
2. Natalie Merchant Ophelia
3. Poe Hey Pretty
4. Portishead Only You
5. Morningwood Nth Degree
6. Chris Isaak Life Will Go On
7. Gillian Welch Time
8. the Dresden Dolls Coin Operated Boy
