I do have a few rules for this spot, so listen up:
1: NO INCEST ALLOWED!! I can't emphasize this enough. I do understand that there are some perverts out there who actually LIKE the idea of a brother and sister making out, but here, we actually have our heads screwed on straight. Incest is disgusting, both in real life and in fictional life, and Narnia is not the place for it. So keep the stuff about Peter and Susan making "such a cute couple" in your diaries (where they belong in the FIRST place) and let Narnia keep it's sense of honor intact, PLEASE.
2: NO SLASH OR FEMMESLASH ALLOWED! And no, I'm not just saying that because I don't agree with homosexuality. If Narnia had slash in it to begin with, I wouldn't mind so much. But there isn't, and slash is about as uncanonical and out-of-character as you can get. So out of respect for C. S. Lewis, Narnia, its characters and the fact that it is a place of wonder and innocence, there will be no homosexual pairings allowed here.
3: NO OUTRAGEOUSLY UNCANONICAL PAIRINGS, please! As well as including the above-mentioned pairings, this means no Lucy/Tumnus, Lucy/Corin, Lucy/Caspian, Susan/Caspian, Susan/Oreius, Aslan/Jadis, etc. You get the idea. Canon-friendly pairings are fine (Caspian/Ramandu's daughter, Frank/Helen, Cor/Aravis...) And some light Digory/Polly and Eustace/Jill is fine, too. In some cases, I might make an exception (like if the story is a good movieverse with some Susan/Caspian in it, I may let it go). But please be sure to ask my permission first.
4: PLEASE ASK MY PERMISSION before adding a movie-verse fic or a story that involves any Peter/OC, Edmund/OC or Caspian/OC pairings. Or ANY canon-character/OC pairing, for that matter. I'd like to keep the Mary Sues, Gary Stues and Marty Sams here to minimum. If you don't know what those are, check out the "Mary Sue 101" thread in this forum.
5: Lastly, here is the miscellaneous stuff. NO M RATED STORIES. A mild T is fine but no language, no smut or lemons, no explicit violence or blood/guts/gore and keep the sexual references to a minimum. Please ask my permission before adding any AU fanfics. No outrageously OOC stories (like suicidal Peter fics or evil Caspian stories). And please make sure that the stories you submit are good-quality and worth reading.
Please know that these rules are here to protect any children/preteens that may visit here and to keep everyone in general happy with the stories they come across. I'd like this spot to be a safe haven for good Narnia fan fiction and all who love the fandom.

About writing things that aren't canon... isn't that almost the point of fan fiction? Writing about things that didn't happen in the books or the movies?
Why is it so wrong for someone to write a story where, say, Susan and Shasta fall in love? Sure, it never happened in the book, but why not in a fan fiction? Isn't that kind of limiting imagination?
...and the fact that it is a place of wonder and innocence, there will be no homosexual pairings allowed here.
Is homosexuality so wrong? I understand if you don't agree with it, but there are many people (some of whom I can only assume read the Narnia books and could even want to write and fan fiction) who do. Why aren't they allowed? Again, why limit ourselves?
And, isn't it kind of offensive to say that protecting people from homosexuals is protecting their innocence?
Again, I understand your view, but that isn't everyone's.
And a last word on the rating: I totally get why you want to keep this spot clean. There are a lot of children and young people who are on Fanpop and some things just aren't apporpriate. That being said, isn't giving the rating fair warning? There are children on FanFiction and anything can be posted there, so long as you rate is accordingly. Is Fanpop the same, or no? Just curious.
Anyways, my point is I find some of these rules really limiting. Is there anyway you could be a bit more flexible?
