Nathan Kress (born November 18, 1992) is an American film and television actor. Acting since he was 5 years old, he is best known for his role as Freddie Benson on the Nickelodeon cable television series, iCarly, alongside co-stars Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy.
Kress, one of three brothers, exhibited exceptional memorization skills at the age of three, learning dialogue from television and performing it back to his family.
Despite a busy acting career, Kress enjoys football, tennis, airsoft, movies (especially The Lord of the Rings film trilogy), and music. He is also something of a technology buff, like his iCarly character, who acts at the technical producer of the show within the show.
