First, you have to make sure that your Wii is connected to the Internet. If not, then you won't be able to use the Wii Shop Channel. If you DO have it connected, then you're good to go. Now, first you have to get some Wii Points. You can either buy a $20 Wii Points Card with 2000 points already on it, or you can buy a random amount of points using your Credit/Debit/Cash card. Once you've bought some points then buying games will VERY simple. You just choose the game you want (Virtual Console/Arcade or WiiWare) and then buy away.
