In the article it said she was returning for season 6. Was that a mistake, or is the article just a year old?

Maybe you misread it...or the writer got confused. She´s definitely coming back for Season 7

oh good I was waiting for her to come back all last season happy she is finally coming back even if it is only for an arc storyline.
