I was just thinking some stuff and decided to share. BTW this spot is on my top 3 spots here!
5 things I like
#1 - Even the members that complaint and that sometimes are rude, can be really nice and supportive. All the comments, in my opinion, makes a new Fanpopper feel welcome but at the same time aware of things they can improve or change;
#2 - OTH members are, in my opinion, the most active members on Fanpop: there's always new photos, icons, picks, videos, links every day;
#3 - The forums are for the most part all answered and the members love to play the games and discuss everything. I feel that in other spots people don't participate in forums so much (of course I can be wrong, what do I now??) and they should because it's a lot of fun;
#4 - Every (or almost) pick has at least one comment, they are always answered fast and the comments are, a lot of the times, really funny;
#5 - The couples fights - I love them! I really do. I love how involved everyone is and how they share their opinions no matter what and aren't afraid of speaking their mind;
5 things I hate
#1 - The repeat picks: I get it that everyone likes to know others favorite couples are or what they opinions are about episodes but there are SO many repeat picks in the spot that at one point I just give up answering them! (well not really because I hate not seeing the little green symbol next to picks but you understand what I'm saying)
#2 - The amount of images: Ok this one isn't really I thing I hate, I actually love it but I like to see everything and rate everything and it's very difficult =P
#3 - The fights: there are some seriously rude people here that sometimes insult others (and not in a kidding manner but for real) and are so inflexible when it comes to their opinions, that they don't even listen to others
#4 - The never ending Leyton vs Brucas fight - Obviously none of the sides is going to change their mind but: the Brucas lovers for one side don't even want to admit that Leyton exist (which I find ridiculous even though I'm more of a Brucas fan because Leyton is very important in the show and, even though I wishfully thinking, would like to see Brucas again it's not going to happen); on the other side Leyton lovers appear to continue to try to make Brucas lovers give up on their passion just because they're not together anymore, like they want them to accept something just because they believe in it or disagree with their choices
#5 - I hate that One Tree hill sets an example for me of member participation and that now no other spot seems to measure up to this level of participation ( I wish it did!!)

i love the fights too! :p their entertaining and it means they care enough to fight about it :) there was another soapbox like this and they didnt like the fights :( i love them- the comments some people make do make me laugh lts <3
the oth spot is my favourite spot because people are always on here updating it and there will be a new pick,video and image added everyday garinteed!
I have no problem with the debating that goes on i think it's great. Even the continous debates of leyton vs brucas. I love to give my opinion as you all know, but at the same time I also love to hear the opinions of others, i mean what fun would it be if everyone agreed. I actually think that it's wonderful that fans still love brucas even when they aren't together.
What I don't like is when the discussions turn to insults or being rude to the person that is posting. People that have been on the site and participate alot, we know who likes and hates who. We know who we agree with and who we disagree with. Which is part of what makes talking about OTH so much fun. But there is absolutely no reason to insult the person making the post just because you don't agree with their opinion of a character or couple, its just not cool. I think sometimes we all need to remember that it is after all a tv show. So lets all have fun and discuss, as we obviously all love to talk about OTH, but if you're going to disagree which we will, direct your comment to the character or couple or whatever being spoken about not the person that makes the comment.
We know that I love Leyton, but that doens't mean that I don't understand why people like brucas, as an OTH fan it's just something you should except. Just as we know that I don't like Brooke when most people love her, doesn't mean I'm going to insult someone just cuz she's their favorite character...i think that goes on a little too much with some people on here.
