TOP 3 Moments on One Tree Hill

I decided to make an article instead of a post because I have a lot to say and don't want to be criticized for making an entirely too long post. SO anyways I was thinking the other day about all the great moments this show has had over the years. I have been a true fan since the beginning when I first heard about the show from Hilarie who was a VJ on MTV at the time and was plugging her new show on the WB. I can't list my favorite scene because there have been SO many that I've loved in their own way and for different reasons so I have decided to break it down by category and then list my top 3 moments of One Tree Hill.***BEST REPEATED ONE-LINER*** 1)"You art matters, it's what brought me here" Lucas to Peyton in Season 1 when she wanted to draw something that matters and he tells her her art matters to him and it's what gave him the courage to play for the Ravens. I think it is a key moment where their love saga begins. Peyton to Lucas in Season 5 when he has writer's block and is scared he can't write a second novel and she tells him his art matters to her and it's what brought her back to Tree Hill to follow her dream of starting a record label. 2)"Hoes over Bros" Classic P Sawyer and B Davis line. It pretty much sums up their friendship throughout the seasons. Lucas always seemed to come between them, but they always managed to survive because of this saying which Brooke actually decided to take a variation of and name her clothing line. 3)"What's underneath the clothes Brooke Davis?" This has different meanings and connotations. Owen wants to get to know the real Brooke, not just the owner of C/B Brooke. It's a clever line and it's also the reason why Owen and Brooke got together because of cute little Jamie giving her advice. Honorable mentions to "Always and Forever" and "I'm the guy for you Brooke Davis" ***SCARIEST SCENE*** 1)Psycho Derek attacking Peyton. The whole scenario when she goes to his room and figures out he is WATCHMEWATCHU because of the keyboard 'yy' and then he attacks her in her own house until Lucas and Real Derek save her just in time is just terrifying to me. Almost being sexually assaulted especially by someone who you thought was someone you could trust is scary. Still one of the most chilling scenes IMO. 2) The Limo Crash SO scary! I mean everything is so wonderful between Naley they just got married again and are so in love and then the crash happens and Nathan jumps over the bridge to save Cooper and Rachel. I thought Nathan was going to die. I knew in the back of my mind he wouldn't get killed off but it still didn't stop me from getting scared that he was going to drown. 3) After the state championship when Dante tries to run over Nathan but runs over pregnant Haley instead and crashes. Then Nathan starts destroying the dead Dante while Lucas has a heart attack. Everything seems to happen all at once! You don't know who'd dead who's dying who's living it was SO crazy! Honorable mentions to school shooting, Jamie's near drowning in the pool, Lucas in the car crash, and Nathan collapsing on the court. ***BEST CAT FIGHT*** 1) Peyton and Brooke Which one? there are SO many but I love the one when Brooke throws the mug at Peyton and then Peyton tackles her to the ground. 2) Haley and Rachel Loved it when Haley punches her out for stealing the calculus test and also trying to hit on her husband. It needed to be done and it was awesome seeing Haley finally get all violent. 3) Peyton, Brooke, and Nikki Old school OTH cat fight when they find out she's the girl Lucas not only hooked up with but also the girl who's making Jake's life a living hell by trying to take Jenny. Honorable mentions to Brooke and Rachel, all of the girls at the sleepover, and Peyton and Lindsey. ***BEST FIRST KISS*** 1) Nathan and Haley I loved the surprise element of it. How she told him he shouldn't have done it, but then jumps right back in to kissing him. SO cute. 2) Lucas and Brooke Very sexy scene in the bar when she shows him her tattoo. I liked their first kiss better than Lucas and Peyton's first kiss since their's was really on a dare from drunk and bitter Brooke. Not really romantic. 3) Peyton and Jake I liked their first kiss because it was also unexpected. They were cute together too bad the universe was against them and Peyton and Lucas are meant to be together. Honorable mentions to Chase and Brooke and Karen and Keith. ***BEST MAKE-OUT SESSION*** 1) Nathan and Haley in the rain Which time? I like them both. Season 1 I guess would be my favorite just because she was so mad at him for keeping pictures of Peyton on his laptop and how everything changed when it started to rain. It led to them being together for the first time and of course getting married. 2) Lucas and Brooke in the rain SO steamy! One of the best scenes of them together IMO. I'm trying to remember if Chad and Sophia were still married at this point because it was so well acted that it looked real to me like they really wanted to be kissing each other. 3) Lucas and Peyton in the motel I know I know it's SO wrong and they are cheating on Brooke but it's still a great scene. When his necklace gets caught in her hair the necklace Brooke gave him they finally realize how stupid it was but they both know they can't bury it because it meant a lot to them both. Honorable mention to Lucas and Peyton after the championship and Lucas and Peyton in Season 5 after their fight. ***BEST LUCAS AND PEYTON FIGHTING SCENE*** 1) The fight in "Don't Dream It's Over when she thows copies of his book at him. P: "If I never cared, then how come every time I see this stupid book I buy it, every stupid damn time Luke. You said I was great! You said I could be great! You said we were destined to be together, you said it to the world, you said it to me and I wish you never had because you did not mean any of it!" 2) The fight in "It's alright ma, I'm Only Bleeding" When Lucas leans in and tells Peyton "He's not good enough for you" and Peyton screams at him "You don't get to say things like that to me anymore!". 3) The fight in Season 1 when Lucas takes her drawings. "Dear Diary my daddy didn't love me. P.S. stay outta my stuff!" That's when Peyton was a real biatch. Honorable mentions to their fight about Psycho Derek and their fight about Brooke. There is SO much more but I think I'll leave it at that. Thanks! |

I think that "Brooke yourself" should be an honorable mention for one-liners
ANd y the way Chad and Sophia had just filed for divorce/ or just got an dicorce when they started to shoot season3, during the scene they were divorced.

tho i do agree with naley_4ever that "brooke yourself" shouldve been an honorable mention. that line is soooo funny! but i def agree with "your art matters, its what got me here". IMO another honorable mention shouldve been "ill be seeing you" tho. ive always loved that.
