READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING!!!! Ok, so here we are:
*Peyton, Brooke and Haley have been best friends like forever. But, things got hard when Lucas, Peyton's cousin, came back from Chicago where he had been for the past two years and got in the team which was led by Nathan, Brooke's twin.
*Nathan and Lucas can't stand each other, especially cause Nathan can't stop cheating on Peyton and Lucas is very protective toward her especially since her father is never there and her mother is dead.
*Peyton and Nathan have been dating since the age of 14. They are like THE perfect couple, means cheerleader with basketball player, you know.
*Brooke sleep every night with different guys she can't ever remember the names. But we'll see later that every scare has his origin...
*Haley is madly in love with Lucas since the sixth grade. The episode begins on a slumber party
Haley: Don't you want to fall in love ?
Brooke: Yeah, I do. Someday, OK ?
Then, Haley announces that she's going to tell Lucas about how she really feels about him .
Haley: I don't know why I should feel embarrassed for saying that I know what I want and go after it.
Peyton describes the behavior that Nathan has been having since a little while. He looks like not caring at all their relationship, she's really sad. Haley and Brooke tell they're sorry.
Haley: I'm really sorry. Next Saturday morning, Haley is working at the café. Peyton came to say that Haley has to show her feelings to Lucas.
Haley : I can't.
But when she looks at Lucas who is having a phone-call, she realizes that she is too in love to keep it as a secret. She plans to tell him during the party that is going to take place at Nathan and Brooke's place. Saturday night's party:
*Lucas comes with Peyton at the party.
Brooke: Lucas! Come play.
Lucas: What's the game ?
Brooke: I Never.
Nathan tries to make an effort explaining the rules but Lucas already knows. He says that it's a very popular game in Chicago.
*Later, Peyton and Lucas are having a talk. Peyton announces that Nathan just broke up with her. Lucas gets angry.
*He goes to see Nathan and asks him in front of everyone why he's acting like an ass with Peyton. Brooke understands that Nathan broke up. She looks at Peyton who seems really sad. Nathan looks totally careless about what's happening and Lucas left the party. Nathan is laughing until he catches Brooke's look.
*Brooke is one more time kissing a guy she doesn't know.
*Haley finally arrives at the party, ready to say the truth. She finds Nathan.
Haley: I should go find Lucas.
Nathan: He left, a while ago.
*Brooke is having sex in a car with an unknown boy.
*Peyton is in her bathroom crying while remembering some happy moments she had with Nathan. She's completely devastated.
*Haley is in her room. Lucas arrives to say hi. He's exhausted
Haley: What happened to you ?
Lucas: First practice with Dan.
Then, he explained what happened during the party. He has no idea that Haley went there. He just wants to talk to her since he has no one else because Peyton locked herself in the bathroom. Moreover, Haley and him used to be really good friends in their childhood, before he left for Chicago. Haley hopes that he may want to say the same that she does. But, he tells that he might be falling for Brooke. Haley can't hide her feelings and gets angry.
Lucas: I'm just saying that after what I saw in the gym today...
He has a flash-back of Brooke laughing at a joke he made.
Lucas: Man...
Haley feels betrayed and very disappointed.
*Nathan finds Brooke asleep on the floor with a drink in her hand. Next morning, Brooke comes to talk to Haley.
Brooke: I lied.
She explained that when she assumed that she didn't want to be in love for now, it was wrong, because the truth is that she might be in love with Lucas. But the thing is that Haley has always had this thing for him so she didn't want to be between them. Haley says that she's really disappointed. Brooke replies that she cares too much about Haley to risk to lose her for a boy. Moreover, she is terrified by the idea of suffering, again. But Haley stays unconcerned and Brooke understands that something is broken between them.
