Johnny Depp has already confirmed he'll be on the next POTC... and in my opinion, having Captain Jack Sparrow on the movie is the only thing that really matters, because he's quite unique and also because Will and Elizabeth's story is already over... And I'm sure they're gonna add new characters...

i hered that it was going to be all about Jack Sparrow, and i dont mind that because i thought he was the best charicter out of the lot anyway!!

Johnny Depp is the star, but these three are the main stars!! IF, IF it's true, they would have to change the title to "Pirate (no s) of the Caribbean"! I won't believe anything until I see it on the news or straight from the actors themselves.

Jack is my favourite character, but God I hate this! PotC just won't be the same without them. I can miss Orlando, but Keira just has to be in the movie.

I feel kinda sad because I loved the trio in all the movies and I love Jack Sparrow but I love Will and Elizabeth too and the ending of the last one is kinda sad cuz Will can only see his wife and child like what 8 times their whole life before they die? Johnny Depp was always the best character in the trilogy & although im not sure it will be the same im not worried. I suppose i figured Will & Elizabeth wouldnt be in the next film anyway. They're married with a child & Will is stuck on the sea, so it was a little obvious. However its not even confirmed that they wont be appearing in On Stranger Tides yet, so all this may be completely irrelevant. (:

That they aren't in it is no problem to me. The problem is...No Commodore Norrington. You can have Jack, you can surely keep will, but give me Norrington anytime

i luved the past movies. i didn't even know that there was a 4th movie coming until i read this question.of course it will be different without Will and Elizabeth, but i'm sure they will have amazing new characters. and besides, Will and Elizabeth are married and apparently have a kid. if they can only see each other once in a decade, the movie might have been a little boring. i think its sad too, but still. i can't wait for the new movie now!!! i always think Jack is funny and cool. =]

Without Orlando there's no Will, nobody else could make a better Will. Keira, don't get me wrong, I like her but she's just another character for me and I feel she's not the best Elizabeth. For the fans of Jack Sparrow I will agree that he makes Pirates of the Carribean what it is and nobody can possibly ruin it as long as he remains.

It's not that there not going to be able to they don't want to. but as long as Johnny is Jack i really don't care because the movies are about Jack Sparrow not Elizabeth and Will.

oh no, nothing will be same. if they r not there the magic created by them ll not be there, so who ever are d substitutes will hav to work hard to create the magic of their own. its so rueful that they are not there in this.
