I have the two disc version of Wall E on DVD and a feature I came across was "The Story of Pixar". It told the story of John Lassater, and his love for cartoons and the history from his first job to his film Cars. One of the things that was mentioned was that the 3-D told over the 2-D world of animation. Now a days, the only fresh 2-D content we see is on TV and unfortunatly, some just aren't as good the old ones. Not as much hard work goes into them and they don't make us laugh as much.
