Sony's PlayStation 3 has now launched around the globe, after Europe and other territories had to wait for it to arrive. So the question on every gamer's lips is "What now?".
The launch lineup of games was one of the strongest ever - issue 1 of the free PlayStation 3 magazine, P3Zine has reviews of every single launch game - but as we head into the inevitable summer games drought, you'd be forgiven for wondering what was coming next.
Sony has the biggest set of in house developers on the planet, so while big third party franchises like GTA will now appear on both Xbox 360 and PS3, there should be a set of quality first party games to come. For every Heavenly Sword though, there is an Untold Legend, and apart from the aforementioned Heavenly Sword, the Autumn line up is currently looking very multi-format.
2007 is definitely the year that the next-gen wars started in earnest, but it's unlikely to be a decisive victory early in the campaign, and Sony is going to have to pull out some very big first party gaming guns over the next two years to draw consumers, as it's becoming clear that brand loyalty...

As a parent, you would likely to be very concernt about your own child’s development. Most likely, you would be worried if your kids are spending too much time playing video games on systems such as the PlayStation 3.
Whether you’re in the camp that believes that video games really do nothing but assist in turning your child’s brain to mush or are of the belief that there’s nothing wrong with a child playing video games, it’s really quite interesting to see what studies have shown about children and playing video games.
Video games can hold a child’s attention. If a video game is a quality game (PS3 or otherwise), it will be challenging and complicated without losing any of its entertainment value.
There are a great many Playstation 3 games that can require over fifty hours of complete concentration in order to successfully be able to complete that game. Children that are dealing with ADHD and have real problems with having to sit still in situations such as school are able to focus their attention for several uninterrupted hours playing a video game.

There are many features to the Playstation 3 that have many saying “Sold!” Boasting Blu-Ray capabilities and up to a 60 Gigabyte hard drive, this is one gaming system that will be sitting on the top of the video game world for years to come. However, some naysayers don’t believe all the hype.
Sony Playstation began its dominance of the video game world in 1994 with the Playstation 2 following suit in the year 2000. In the early part of 2006, Sony reported that the end of the Playstation 2 was at hand and with the creation of the Playstation 3, the next generation of video gaming was about to hit the market. So this has left many asking if the high price tag on the PS3 is worth paying. There are several exceptional reasons, which include the following:
Blu-Ray technology is utilized on the new PS3 games and this will allow the usage of six times more data than traditional game discs. This will provide for video games that boast incredibly intricate game playing graphics. Blu-Ray will likely aide in bringing back a number of classic video game titles.
