With the Playstation 3, video gaming systems are now provideing a truly unique gaming experience for gamers of all skill sets. With breathtaking graphics and spectacular features such as reduced save times, the PS3 has been all set to dominate the video game world.
Now with all the talk of how great the Playstation 3 is, gamers should be expecting equally exceptional games to play. Here are several titles that gamers should be looking to buy:
Resistance: Fall of Man
This science fiction-based first person shooter role-playing games is the work of the creative minds at Insomniac Games. With the original working title of I-8, Resistance: Fall of Man has you following along in the footsteps of resistance leader Nathan Hale as he leads an attempt to thwart a strange alien invasion originating in England.
Because Resistance: Fall of Man shows off, not only the functionality of the system itself but also its online capabilities, it is currently one of the hottest titles the PS3 has to offer.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Sean Bean is just one of the world famous stars to lend their voice to this unique award winning Playstation 3 offering. Made by the creative superstars at Bethesda Softworks LLC, it was originally released for the Personal Computer and Xbox 360 platforms.
What’s truly unique about this fourth edition of the fantasy role playing game is that it gives players more control over the personality and characteristics of their chosen character than any game ever has before. Role playing game aficionados and those new to the genre will be more than pleased with Elder Scrolls IV.
Final Fantasy XIII
Without a doubt one of the most anticipated titles set for eventual release for the Sony Playstation 3 is Final Fantasy XIII. So far, only information on two characters have been released: a mysterious woman wielding what appears to be a weapon that can seamlessly switch from a sword to a firearm, who goes by the name “Lightning,” and all that is known of the other character is that he is an enormous man who is allied with Lightning.
In a departure from the usual feminine females that populate the worlds of Final Fantasy Lightning there’s said to be a female version of Cloud, the hero of Final Fantasy 7.
Battles will be quite different in Final Fantasy XIII from earlier installments. Real time battles will occur with no arc between the character attacking and the one defending themselves. Summons such as the icy Shiva will be able to be summoned into battle and be made doubly useful by being able to morph into items such as motorcycles.
Other Older Titles
While the majority of games being released for play on the Playstation 3 are brand new titles, there are some mind-blowing sequels in the works as well. A new version of the pedal to the medal Gran Turismo and the finale to the epic God of War are poised for eventual release for the PS3.
With new games and new advances in gaming technology continually in the works, video games playable on the Playstation 3 will be providing the highest quality gaming experience possible for years to come.
