While Michael Jackson's three children deeply miss their father, Paris, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II -- known as ''Blanket'' -- are slowly adjusting to a new life and world without Daddy.
A source long close to the Jackson family says the children talk about Michael ''every single day.'' Prince, the King of Pop's oldest son, reportedly is working feverishly on his laptop ''almost every waking moment, creating out what he calls 'My Story' '' -- the 12-year-old's memoir of what his life has been like since June 25, the day his father died. The diarylike project also is said to include a number of poems -- several ''written directly to Michael in heaven,'' said the source.
• Perhaps not surprisingly, all three of the children -- whom Michael exposed to all kinds of music since birth -- have inherited the Jackson family's musical genes. Paris has penned quite a number of songs, Prince is working on lyrics, and I hear there's talk of the trio of Jackson children eventually forming their own group -- ''The Jackson Three''? -- and beginning work on an album within the next year or so.
• The youngest son supposedly wants folks to stop calling him "Blanket," the nickname created by Michael Jackson and adopted by the rest of his family and friends. "He believes his father's passing should mean that nickname dies too,'' said the source. ''He's asking people to call him 'Prince Two,' or use his full name.''
