PRINCE OF TENNIS OVA REVIEW
Ryoma's back and back with new tricks in his sleeve! After an intriguing appearance in the US open, Ryoma is now back in Tokyo to be with his teammates, the Seigaku Tennis Club to win the Nationals. New and old rivals and friends emerged like the vengeful Hyōtei Academy, the Dark Horse Higa from Okinawa and mysterious Shitenhouji from Osaka . But the more powerful Seigaku has no match aginst the invincible Rikkai from Kanagawa.
In April 2006, an original video animation (OVA) continuation of the anime began to be released over a span of seven DVDs. The beginning of the second OVA series was released on June 22, 2007, roughly 3 months after the end of the first. The second OVA finished on January 25, 2008, containing six episodes over a span of three DVDs. The third OVA started on April 25, 2008, and finished on January 23, 2009. A fourth OVA titled "Another Story" has been scheduled for release on May 26, 2009, and will be based on the pasts of several characters. It is now by studio M.S.C., not by studio Trans Arts which was the studio for the anime.
Like the other OVA's, this OVA has improved in many aspects like the art; animation; the plot, which it has became more fast-paced compared to the anime.
