I don't know who this is directed to but I may as well answer:

If you wrote to the e-mail address that is given for that purpose (for fans to write to) on her official website http://annerice.com and if the e-mail you sent is saved in your e-mail's Sent box then it ought to have been sent. That is of course if you have your e-mail set to save all sent e-mails. If not then there's no way to be sure. Then again, I suppose at least most e-mail services have this feature that undelievered e-mails are return to the sender with an error message so if yours has that, and it's not sent back to you, your e-mail was probably succesfully sent.
