"Keep On Loving You" album cover
I have been a fan of Reba McEntire for years now; I have bought several of her albums, seen most of her performances on TV and online, read hundreds of articles, seen several interviews, watched most of her movies, and know almost everything I possibly can about her. However, I find that her newest album -- her first solo studio album in 6 years -- is one of her absolute best! That says a lot considering the fact that she is indeed "The Queen of Country". It features hot sassy singles such as "Strange"; a break-up song about moving on at a strangely upbeat tempo and "Consider Me Gone" about the hardships of a relationship. The album is named after a song titled "I Keep On Lovin' You" which contradicts both Consider Me Gone and Strange because it tells the story of a love that has remained strong for years and will continue to last forever. This love which has lasted is shown through verses such as "through the baby don't leave me's, and never will again's, and I promise to's, I keep on lovin' you". The album takes you through songs of starting over, of finding and of losing love, but more than anything it empowers women (and even men) of all ages, telling them never to give up.

Keep On Loving You has become a huge success, with a video for "strange" and an upcoming video for "Consider Me Gone" (both huge hits) aswell as the possibilty for other music videos. Not only are the singles very popular but the album itself has already hit #1 on the country charts and #1 on Billboards top 200; in 2007, Reba was also named Billboard Magazine's first "Woman of the Year" for her wide-ranging success in music, movies, television, and publishing.

Reba's albums have always been filled with meaning and since she is purely country, many of her songs are sad, but you can never go wrong with a Reba song because they always hit close to home. This particular album envolves a large variety of songs; break-up songs, love songs, story songs, and songs that just make you want to get up and dance!

I strongly suggest you purchase this album, you will NOT regret it! So head over to the nearest music store and get it, besides, you've got "Nothing To Lose".
