The greatest show about inept cops in Reno, Nevada that has ever been made. Also the only such show.

Attention LA! Reno 911 Cast appearing LIVE at the iO WEST!

juliocrockett posted on Feb 22, 2008 at 11:18PM
I'm so excited! The entire cast of Reno 911 is going to be performing LIVE at iO WEST in Hollywood on Monday February 25th and it's only $10 to see it!

Here's the info on the show:

THE CAST OF RENO 911 ARRESTS THE AUDIENCE
OF THE ARMANDO SHOW AT iO WEST IN HOLLLYWOOD!

WHO:
Robert Ben Garant, the man known and loved as Deputy Travis Junior, takes of the dark glasses to reveal his face and personal musings returning as the host of The Armando Show on Monday night, February 25 at 9pm. Garant wowed audiences and improvisers alike with his anecdotes about growing up in Tennessee at iO WEST's two-hour, two-act Armando Show on February 4th where he co-hosted the show with Private Practice star, Kate Walsh.

At the end of this month, Garant will appear onstage at iO WEST in Hollywood along with Reno 911 castmates Carlos Alazraqui, Thomas Lennon, Niecy Nash, Kerri Kenney, and Cedric Yarbrough or Deputies: Junior, Garcia, Williams, Wiegel, Jones, and Lieutenant Dangle will be there. Tickets are $10 and reservations can be made by calling the iO WEST box office at 323.962.7560.

As an added bonus, the cast will stick around after The Armando Show to be guests on Inside the Improviser's Studio at 10:30pm.

WHAT:
The Armando Show is an hour-long improvised comedy show inspired by an audience suggestion, which the celebrity hosts interprets through a personal and truthful improvised monologue. Inspired by that monologue, a cast composed of veteran Chicago and Los Angeles alumni perform scenes which, in turn, inspire a response from Armando. This propels hilarious interchanges between Armando's monologues and the company's scenes.

LA Times reviewer F. Kathleen Foley describes the performance by saying, " ...this free-associative repetition melds into Zen-like flights of fancy...."

This show is the reason to see live Improv in Los Angeles.

Inside The Improviser's Studio, Chicago's hit interview and Q&A show, modeled after "Inside the Actor's Studio," features host, Aaron Krebs, chatting with celebrity guests once a month, getting them to share their experiences and insights as improvisers, actors and human beings.
