Why do you think Marian is constantly putting off being with Robin?

i think she is worried about her father, but its just an excuse to get out of living with robin....i mean look at the other stuff shes done (like in s2 episode 3) that endangers her father.....i think its an excuse

I think it's a plot device used by the writers to drag out the story.

she uses her father as an excuse that she can say to his face. i think that she is just upset with him because he left her for the glory of the holy land.

I think she's worried if she gives in and gives her heart entirely to Robin that one day the king or something will call him away and he'll always choose it over her.
Or that going against the sheriff will kill him and she'd loose him forever...
But who really knows what goes on in that girls head???
I think she's just scared, living in the world she dose it's hard not to worry I mean look at them there not your average couple...

i understand that she doesnt want to leave her father, but Robin will take care of her. he doesnt ever want to loose her.
