In the HBP movie I was kinda disappointed that they never showed Ron's reaction to Hermione taking McLaggen to Slughorn's party. It felt like Hermione was more interested in Ron than he was in her. What does everyone think???

I think so...they should have a take about ron's reaction...but i dont think ron was not interested in hermione than what hermione feel, because i think ron is a very shy boy..(and that's why we think that he is cute><)

Well, I'm a huge R/Hr fan. They're my favorite couple. But, to be honest, I was really disappointed with the way the whole L/R/Hr triangle was treated in the movie.

Don't get me wrong. I did love the hospital scene and the "nice skin" comment Ron made but the rest kinda ruined them for me. Book!Ron is deeply insecure (at least until DH) and that often results in jealousy (he couldn't even stand Hermione and Viktor being pen-pals after GoF). He would never tell Hermione that Cormac likes her so casually. In the book, Ron was positively surprised that Hermione wanted to take him to Slughorn's party. He clearly didn't want her to go with McLaggen. In the movie, he doesn't seem to care. Oh ... And Ron doesn't enjoy being with Lavender in the book. So I don't understand why they gave him this "what we have is chemical, there's no stopping it" speech.

In the end, I agree with your impression. Hermione seemed more interested in Ron than he was in her. This is obviously just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I think they did it perfectly. Ron never really showed his feelings and was pretending to be all over Lavender to make Hermione jealous. I also think they tried to do a bit of a few Harry/Hermione moments which made me angry!
