Cuban salsa, clubs and ideas?

Hello? :)

Has anyone been to Cuba recently? I’ve read good things about salsa in Havana, and wanted to ask your opinion. I’d like to go there on my holidays, but since it would be my first time there, I don’t want to end in some kind of tourists’ gathering centre… I’m planning to taste the “real Cuban salsa” after all ;)
