The Påsk witch

Can someone who is native to Scandinavia explain the witch to me in the Påsk decorations? I asked my Swedish-born husband but he has no idea.He doesn't pay attention to that kind of stuff. HA!

I'm just curious about it.

	aholic said: hmm I have been searching on the internet (very quickly) and there stands that the witches were active the day before Jesus died, so the people sent them away to Bloksbjerg in Harzen,Germany (they did'nt actually sent them there, but they just sent them away) and then the next day at church they would be normal good people. posted 5 months ago. last edited 5 months ago
