Somebody has to come to Scrappy's defense, so here I am.
I have always loved Scrappy-Doo in the cartoons. He loved and worshipped Scooby, always had a "Let's go get 'em!" attitude, and was fairly funny. But the movie is a totally different story. They KILLED the cuteness of Scrappy by making him the brat, and villain.
oops I thought this was about scooby doo and not scrappy doo. *goes to change vote*
I just think he was a bit of an annoyance really, he wasn't really needed at all. I think scrappy doo being the bad guy in the first movie really showed what the scooby doo creaters think most people think of him.
Hates such a strong word though and I don't hate him with a vengence or anything like that
Why was he the villian in the first movie? He was the brave little guy, and he should have had a heroic comeback, if at all. They warped such a good character. He used to be the brave one, always ready to fight ghosts, not join them. I 100% agree with Tweakpotter.

That's my two cents, at least.
