I awoke cuddled up against Shadow's chest. His white fur against my cheek felt so ticklish and warm. I wrapped my arms around his back and cuddled even deeper until my face was emersed within his chest. His heart beat rhythmed like a drum against my ears and the heat from his soft fur made me nearly fall back asleep again. After a few minutes of sleeping, I woke back up and saw him looking at me and smiling. "Good morning, my sweet angel", he said rather seductively as he stroked his hands along my hair and my back. I let out a slight moan and hugged him tighter saying, "Good morning, Shadow" then rubbed my face against his white fur. To my surprise I felt his body shiver and he let out a slight moan. "What are you ticklish there?", I chuckled at him. "Don't rub it", he grumbled. "You are ticklish", I snickered and continued rubbing my face in his chest. He burst out laughing a little much to my amusement then grabbed my head with his thumb and index finger. "You bad girl", he chuckled as he pinned me down on the bed, "What's with you?". "Sorry", I snickered, "I just always wondered how soft your fur was". He smirked at me then grabbed me from under my forearms and started tickling me. "Hahahahaha Nohohohohoho please Stahahahahahap, Shahahahahahdow!!!", I burst out laughing while gripping the bed sheets and pounding the mattress. You give up?", he grinned evily as he kept tickling. "Yes, I give, I give", I cried out and he stopped and laid on top of me looking at me with loving eyes. "You know, with Mephelis and all the other enemies gone", I said, "Does that mean that there will be a time of peace". Shadow sighed and kissed my forehead saying, "My moongoose colleague, you are so naive" then got off of me and off my bed. "There is no such thing as peace in this world", he said, "only ceasefires". "So Eggman and his robots are just taking a pause to rebuild his army?", I asked. "Yes", Shadow said, "I learn that from my time serving G.U.N." I sat back up and looked at him with interested eyes, "You were with those guys? Then why did you serve Eggman when I first arrive?" "We had our differences", Shadow said, "Although it was my decision to leave". "Why?", I asked getting out of my bed. "Nothing", he said, "Besides Rouge is still an agent for them but rarely attends there meetings anyway"."Well that's her", I argued, "I want to know why you left". He looked at me with a look that spoke "what are you stupid?" then walked out.

I went into the kitchen made myself a sandwich and glass of milk then sat down against the couch. "Hey Sonic?", I asked, "What did you do with that sceptar holding Mephiles?" "Silver said he'd sealed it away in some unknown dimention", Sonic said as Amy slowly creeped behind Sonic then jumped on him. "Sonikuuuu", she cheered as she wrapped her arms around his neck and rubbed her face against his. "Hey, hey, Amy, your choking me", Sonic gasped trying to pry her off. "Sorry, Sonic", she said in a childish manner. She sat down with her head down in shame but that made Sonic worried then sad. "Oh I'm so sorry, Amy", Sonic said wrapping his arms around her but she tricked him and wrapped her arms around him nearly suffocating him again. "Gotcha", She cheered. "You really are a sucker for teary eyes", I chuckled at him."You can say again", Shadow said as he entered the room, "But then again she isn't the only one who showed her loving side". "What do you mean?", Sonic asked. "Don't listen", Amy cried out. "Let me guess", I said, "Shadow and Amy in the cryptic castle... searching for Cream and cheese". "Yeah", Shadow said. "Knock it off", Amy yelled brandishing her hammer. "Accidently kissed", I snickered. "You want another concussion", she growled preparing to hit me. "Do that and I'll do the same", Shadow growled as he grabbed her hammer. "Okay, guys cool it", Sonic shouted. He walked over to Amy and took her to the kitchen. "How did you know about shadow and Amy?" Knuckles asked. "Well I thought it was just some fanfic", I explained, "but judging by her reaction, I guess I was right"."You're right about everything", he grumbled. "Well my memory is still intact about you guys", I said then saw Shadow lay next to me. "But your memory about your life", Shadow said, "Is practically erased". I shrugged as I ate my food and leaned against his shoulder. "You think I could stay here for a little longer?", I asked. "Stay as long as you want", Shadow grinned as he rubbed my head. I let out a playful purring noise as he rubbed me behind the ears. Sonic then reentered with Amy hugging him tightly, "Hey a thought just popped up in my mind; since Eggman named you Mina, do you want to change your name?" I looked up at Shadow and asked, "Say did Eggman really name me Mina?" He shook his head then smiled at me, "I named you Mina". "Why?", I asked. He blushed a little and said, "How should I know?! I don't know any other girl's names besides Maria's. I just thought it was a common name". "Hey don't get flustered", I chuckled. "I'm not getting flustered!", he yelled at me but was indeed blushing a scarlet red. "You are", Sonic snickered. "Don't make me kill you, Faker!", he growled at me. I grinned and hugged him from behind. "Love ya, Shadow", I snickered as I rubbed against his quilled back. "Okay, okay", he chuckled behind me and kissed me softly on the lips.
