Shrek Forever After
|
Shrek has become a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, the now-reluctant ogre agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all of Rumpelstiltskin's mischief in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love and family.

Okey so I first saw Shrek back in 2001, which is all about a green ogre who lives in a swamp and he befriends this talking donkey named well Donkey. Of course the two of them go on an adventure to rescue a princess who is AN OGRE I MAY ADD ,as she was under a spell to become an ogre whenever the sun goes down. Personally I like all of the Shrek movies but the 3rd one was funnier and the 2nd one why you may ask because of Puss in Boots voiced by Antonio Bandreas.
Featuring an all star cast from funnymen Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Rupert Evertt (that man makes me laugh as the prince who is so annoying and gay), Antonio Banderas( who joined in 2004 along with Rupertt Everett), Julie Andrews, etc . Shrek is a very funny fairytale film which mocks some fairytales as well. This and Enchanted are my favourite fairytale flicks of the 21st century.
Verdict: A hilarious fairytale with a great cast and Mike Myers at his best with the whole fake scottish accent lol.

"The Best Part About Shrek"
My favorite part about Shrek is that the one FUNNY animated character is Donkey!! Donkey is played as Eddie Murfy.He can sing. He can kinda fly. And he can probably make anyone laugh! And get this, he can talk. A talking donkey. Totally COOL!! Shrek is Donkey's best friend. Kinda. In half the Shrek movie, Donkey is Shrek's bff, but for the other half, Donkey is not Shrek's bff. At the end things work out and as you know, there is A happy ending! Shrek try's to save Princess Fiona and than Princess Fiona is not too happy about 3 things. #1. She find's out Shek is an Oger, #2. She wanted Lord Farquard to rescue her. and #3. Shrek ends up having to carry Princes Fiona. But this is the order of how I think they are funny. #1. Donkey, #2. Shrek, #3. Fiona, #4. Gingerbread Baby, #5. Lord Farquar, #6. Dragon, #7. The little mice that come to Shrek's swamp. Well those are my favorite charcters listed in order! Thats all I have to say.
