I'm from the US and i'm not excited for this at all. I'm actually really disappointed that Skins would do an American version... it will most likely not be anything close to as good as Skins in England is so they should have just made an entirely different show. So Stupid.

Is this the actual cast? Or just people at auditions? I'm from Canada but even I think a US version will be total shit. I'm just mad with Skins in general now - last nights episode was CRAP. Bring back the happy times PLEASE!

Wow, im from the U.S. and I already know this is going to suck... MTV ruins everything good....

The U.K. show executives had to have sold the rights to the show to the U.S. people, so if anything get mad at them. They are the ones who sold out.

And who cares if some of them are "ugly"? Not all of the original Skins cast members are attractive either, which is more realistic then all of them being hot. Give it a chance before you knock it, that's all Im saying. And if you don't like it you don't have to watch.

I love US Skins.
There are a lot of Hot characters on there & some more realistic looking characters.

&& the show was not ruined by coming to the US.

& it probably made the UK version more popular cause most Americans(including me) had never heard of Skins till MTV made their version.

First off none of them are ugly. Sorry they don't look like fake plastic bimbo bitches like "mean girls" or anyone else on tv. They look like real American kids. The US version is awesome and real kids are just like that. American parents and other critics are just blind to what their kids really do and their lives are really like. I would hangout with every single person in the cast's character.

I lovee the Us Skins..there all amazing the us didnt ruin it we fixed the imperfections that were on before. and MTV knows exactly what they are doing all there shows have people glued to the tv.

So I'm from Australia sydney palm beach and i just want to say on behalf of australia i would like to say FUCK YOU AMERICAN PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS, CAST, WRITERS AND ANYONE ELSE THAT WORK ON ITS PRODUCTION. this show totally lacked in taste, visual imagery and substance. Skins what made for england be fucking original people. Which reminds me you also sucked at trying to remake the australian comedy KATH AND KIM what the hell were you thinking. ps to all those people who care so much about the characters looks who cares i was more devo about the fact that those kids can not act!
