In my opinion, they screwed the whole show over after season 4. That crap relationship with Lana and Clark was not what I'd been waiting for. Lex went to the dark side and tried - somewhat succeeding - to bring Lana with him.
The whole show has become a joke. I mean its called SMALLVILLE for God's sake, as soon as they wanted to bring it into only Metropolis, they should have started a spin off, ending Smallville after doing so. No more Clark in Smallville means the name is deceiving!
Also, Clark's gotten all to mopey and those flippin' red and blue colours he's ALWAYS wearing are getting on my damned nerves! Seriously give him more of a range, I know those colours are Superman's colours, but honestly!
And what's with how dark the show has gotten? I loved the show in the first few seasons (up to season 4 end and even the first few episodes of season 5 until Clark gets his powers back), but now it's just completely horrid. Storylines have been reused and abused to the point of exhaustion, and too many things have been dropped prematurely. What the hell is going on with this damned show?
