Three words: Impressive, though disappointing. He doesn’t look like a goblin, and certainly not like the one in the comics. Though, most of the changes in Goblin’s costume where for the better, I’d say. They improved his glider by far, his suit(though it doesn’t look goblin-ish) looks awesome, and his pumpkin bombs would have made people die of laughter if it where actual pumpkins in the movie.

The Green Goblin is being played by a great actor(one of the best, in my opinion). Willem Dafoe has played in a lot of movies, but was on his best in Spider-Man. It was too bad he had to wear that mask, though. He also played a lot of ‘insane’ roles before(Speed 2: Crouse Control). Willem’s voice also suites the Green Goblin perfectly.

On a scale of 1/10 of how I liked the Green Goblin in the movie: 8/10. His glider is awesome, they improved his costume (partly), and is played by a great actor.

I hear and read about a lot of people who where disappointed by how they the makers of Spider-Man 3 put Venom in the movie. I really must say: why? Every Venom-fan is either used to the original blue version, or the dark, bulky Ultimate Spider-Man variety. Also, people complain about the reason that 'his tongue wasn't long enough'. Like Eddy Brock said in Spider-Man 3: WHAT THE HELL?

A lot of people also said Venom didn't appear/do much in the movie. WRONG. He already appeared in the first 10/15 minutes or so. Remember when Peter and MJ where all kissing and doing romantic and when that meteorite crashed? Venom came crawling out there and clung to Peter's bike as the two lovebirds left. From there, it made Peter's life miserable. It becomes the main troublemaker in this little drama. Venom isn't just Venom when merged with Eddy, it is the Symbiote.

On a scale of 1/10 of how much I liked Venom in the movie: 8/10. He/It made a good appearance, looked awesome, and his TONGUE WAS CLEARLY VISIBLE(like, geez guys).

Boy, did I not expect this. Though, after Doc Oc, the Sandman is my favourite movie villain. He has by far the greatest background of all the Spider-Man villains from the movies. Y’know, he’s actually a criminal, though as he calls himself: ‘not a bad person’. He only does it for his little daughter Penny, who needs an operation but Flint and his wife can’t afford them(that’s a great father, isn’t it?).

After Flint Marco ran away once again from the cops, he got himself inside some sort of whirlpool of sand, changing his molecules as if they where made from sand. That also makes for a brilliant scene where Flint tries to crawl out of the sand(lol, it looks just like a baby who tries to stand and makes his first steps). He realizes he could damn well use those powers to get money to pay the medication bills for Penny. Later, he nearly got to his end when he confronted Spider-Man in the subways. He got resurrected somehow, and focuses on Spider-Man. He teams up with Eddy Brock, a former photographer from the Daily Bugle and rival of Peter.
