One-off teapots created by celebrities and artists are being auctioned online from June 25 in support of the Willow Foundation's Piece of Cake campaign, which encourages people to hold tea parties to raise money for the charity during June.

The Willow Foundation is a national charity set up by Arsenal legend, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, which provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds throughout the UK.

Teapots created by Victoria Wood, Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes and Heston Blumenthal are up for auction alongside members of the Arsenal team; Pauline McLynn (Mrs Doyle - the much loved tea lady from Father Ted); Sendhil Ramamurthy (best known as Dr Suresh from Heroes) and the cast of Emmerdale. Cartoon teapots of Dennis the Menace; Mr Benn; Edward Monkton and Bang on the Door feature alongside well known artists Rosie Birtwhistle, David Hensel and more. Illustrator Jimmy Glen has painted the Dennis the Menace teapot - his last ever piece of Dennis art after spending his life illustrating Beano and Dandy character before he retires.

As well as the one-off creations, a selection of teapots from London's leading hotels, best known for afternoon tea. These include a silver teapot from The Ritz and teapots from Claridge's - signed by Gordon Ramsay, The Goring and The Chesterfield. Plus tea for two at Brown's.

The teapots will be auctioned online at www.willowfoundation.org.uk/teapots from Thursday June 25 and will run until July 5. All proceeds go to the Willow Foundation.

The teapots have been created in support of the Willow Foundation's Piece of Cake fundraising campaign, in association with McVitie's Jamaica Ginger Cake, which takes place throughout the month of June and is led up by Willow Foundation ambassador, Gary Rhodes. Piece of Cake encourages people across the UK to hold a tea party for the charity - at home, at school, at work - with friends, family or work colleagues.
