I'm not sure about anything yet. I think Quinto has the face...but those are HUGE shoes to fill in...in anycase Leonard Nimoy will be in the film so it will be worth watching just for him anyways...right?

It would to be hard to get me to accept anyone, but my initial hesitations are that a) He's too smooth and not distant enough and b) he's not skinny. Picky, picky.

No one can replace the originals, it's true, but I still think he'll be brilliant. Quinto is a fantastic character actor and I know he can do this role justice.
I'd be a whole lot more worried about Rider as Spocks mother or whats-his-name as Captain James Tiberius Kirk because, I mean, really?

I seriously hope the new spock does not trample on his own freedom as Leanard Nimoy did. I love Nimoy in the role, but feel he lost himself to such a popular charactor. You can be popular without selling everything, including your own eye boogers. LOL! Sad, that I love spock so much but feel sorry for Nimoy. No one could ever replace the charactor his individual performance made but I will watch and see. I've been wrong before!
Quinto can do characters, but he's bound to be different. Still, Nimoy got really excited over some new tricks he saw Quinto use; he said he never thought of them and was impressed. I'm eager to check out Quinto's act!
