This whole obbsession started one cold winter night sometime in January, i had never heard of Sweeney Todd before or anything about it. i knew Johnny Depp was in a new film with Helena Bonham Carter directed by Tim Burton but i didn't know it was Sweeney Todd.
My friend had seen it and told me of its awsomness and as it had my favorite actor, actress and director in it...how could i miss it! So she leant me the DVD.
I got home at about 9:00pm on a saturday night and thought "oh i have Sweenney Todd, I might as well watch it!" so off i went. i sat down and started the DVD.
After it was finished i couldn't believe that i had left it so long to watch it! it was so good i had to watch it again, and again, and again...
Soon it got to the hollidays, we had two weeks off and the rest of my family was out all day, so i thought what not a better time to watch Sweeney Todd some more. Then i watched it again, and again, and again...
And for the whole two weeks i had off school, i watched it about three times a day every day! i just couldn't help myself! As soon as the CD came out, i was first in the shop to buy it! I was so excited and i listend to it every waking hour (whitch really drove the rest of my family up the wall!)
I then got the book and some posters and even printed some good pictures from on here that you guys added!
I just couldn't get enough of sweeney todd, and still cant! If i see anything to do with sweeney todd, its all i think about for the rest of the day. I even got to the point were i knew the film so well i could wacth it the full way through in my head, word for word!
Then to two disc special edittion DVD came out and i had to get it! I needed to see all the special features. How they kill people without acctually killing them, and even the whole myth about Sweeney Todd.
It had consumed my life and yet i wanted more!
I drew pictures, i sang the songs over and over, i read the novel twice! And yet i can still watch the movie three times a day and not get bored of it!
All i know is i am sweeney todd mad and i will be for the rest of my life! ♥

Whenever the movie first came out I was OBSESSED with the soundtrack. Stephen Sondheim is amazing.
and there is a few bits where they cut out the diolouge, but that sbout it.
the special eddition DVD just has a whole disk of special features as shown here

i have wanted to see it sinse i saw Sweeney Todd, if i can find it on DVD somewhere i will deffinatly be watching it lol
for my birthday i just got a new Sweeney Todd book, its one that Tim Burton has written about the behind the scenes and things
did you know...when filming the dancing scene in 'a little preist' they were sat on a moving chair thing to make it look like they are dancing. when the images start working again i will try and scan the picture in :) ♥
I Just Saw It And Loved it. My Family thought it was a bit bloody and long.

SWEENEY TODD ROCKS FOREVER AND EVER!!!
i cosplay Sweeney Todd almost everyday and i watch the movie at least once a month (not as much anymore as i already know and own the script). but when it first came out up until around....January of this year, i would watch it every day and every chance i could i recently watched it on the airplane and showed it to my friend's little cousins who also love it. lol. Sweeney Todd is such an awesome movie and i like the picz u added. very awesome
