Spoof Sweeney Todd for a Chance to Win a 2008 MTV Movie Award

Dailymotion and MTV are looking for the best short, original spoof video based on some of the past year’s most popular movies (full list below).

The winning video from Dailymotion will be featured on MTV.com, plus the talented filmmaker will win trip to Los Angeles for the MTV Movie Awards on June 1st. He or she may even be awarded the Golden Popcorn statuette for Best Movie Spoof – live, onstage at the awards!

The deadline for submissions is May 11, 2008 at 11:59 pm EDT.

The winning video from Dailymotion will also be featured on MTV.com from 5/19 to 5/26, when voting will open to the public to determine which talented entrant will win the Golden Popcorn.

The Dailymotion finalist will receive an all-travel-and-hotel expenses paid trip to the Los Angeles for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, as well as an invitation to an exclusive MTV event. The finalist will also receive a cool new Flip Video Camcorder (visit www.theflip.com for more info on this product).

2nd place will receive a Flip Video Camcorder.

• Spoof should be of one of the movies listed below
• Video can be up to 3 minutes in length

• Video should not contain nudity or profanity
