How many sugars?

I tend to approximate. Plus, I drink an American-sized mug of tea (i.e. a BIG cup).

2 sugars for most black teas, but if I'm doing something like Jasmine or Chrysanthemum tea, I'll take it au naturale.

The real question is how many cookies/biscuits do you eat with your tea? :-P

Good point, papa. I get all my sugar from the "sides" - I tend not to add sugar to anything, as I get enough as it is.

I only drink green tea, can't imagine sugar in it! My fav is green tea with Jasmin which gives it a delicate floral taste.

ordinary tea needs no sugar, but some herbal teas need sugar actually.

I know we British love tea, but contrary to popular belief we do drink coffee as well. :D that's why it annoyed me so much when I saw an episode of Smallville and Lana just met this British woman, and they were in a coffee house and Lana said "Would you like some tea?", not "would you like a drink?"

She's British, it had to be tea. :D

Of course, the sugar goes in black tea. Green doesn't need any.

I have sugar when I'm feeling indulgent. I know, I know. I indulge myself by putting sugar in my tea. How sad is that?

I don't like sugar in my tea. The only time I add anything is when I'm sick with a cold, then it's honey and lemon.

As for tea being tasteless without sugar, you mustn't be steeping it long enough, or you drinking the wrong brand.

And papa...I like at least 2 biscuits/cookies with my afternoon tea...any other time of day, I just like a cuppa. :-)

most of the time i drink peppermint or black w/o sugar, but sometimes i will have a bit of honey.

I add three teaspoons of Splenda to my tea. I also add half and half as well.

The best tea is Yorkshire Tea with just a splash of milk no sugar!

I like my tea plain-nothing added at all! The exception to the rule, if I'm sick I'll add honey, lemon, and whiskey!

i usually put in like a spoonful of honey and i dont use sugar. i use agave nectar. its this sweet juice that comes from a cactus its so good and its better for you than sugar
