Help Me Find My New Favorite Show!

Did you try watching How I Met Your Mother? I like all the shows you listed and I don't really enjoy teen dramas either and HIMYM is my favorite show so check it out if you haven't given it a shot yet!

House M.D and Grey's Anatomy if you like doctor shows. Those are two of my favourites. And if you like Grey's Anatomy you should watch Private Practice too. ;)

Well I'm a big fan of CSI... my other addiction is House, so maybe you would like to check it out. Bones is very cool too ;) And Criminal Minds.

You Would Have To Probably Watch From Beginning To Understand These Shows. Well In My Opinion Heroes & Lost Are The Best Non Comedy Shows, Good Comedy Shows Are Scrubs, My Name Is Earl & The Big Bang Theory.

HA! How i met your mother of course..but..it involves people having sex and drinking alcohol AND eating sandwiches.

Samantha Who? (really funny), The Mentalist, Eleventh Hour, Fringe (a mix of criminal and supernatural), Starter Wife, Dead Like Me, The Tudors....

the only one out of your favorite ive never seen and dont love is seinfield, but my favorties are charmed buffy if you want older less ten then buffys spin off angel is usually better but buffy does go from teen to adult so there is both in that one. then theres greys anatomy brothers and sisters and comdeies scrubs how i met your mother samantha who? other than the ones youve listed already!

Drama shows: Alias (spy show), Brothers & Sisters (drama, but really funny), Desperate Housewives (mystery+comedy), Grey's Anatomy (hospital+complicated relationships), House (hospital+mystery), Bones (dead bodies, really good show).

OK, You've GOT to watch Arrested Development. It is hilarious. I also like Seinfeld and The Office, so we have fairly similar tastes.

If you want something Seinfeld-ish, try Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's like Seinfeld but raunchier. It's great.

Another one I'd try is Flight of the Conchords. Hilarious.

alright most of the shows are mentioned but try The closer, Dexter, and Damages for the drama for comedy I go old school and watch MASH, Barney Miller and WKRP if you got a good site for the older stuff cause those comedies are awesome.

I'd say Veronica Mars and Dexter! Veronica Mars is over, but it's easy to get on DVD or watch online :) Ooh and Extras!

Dexter. It's about a serial killer who kills serial killers. But there's so much more to it. The supporting cast are phenomenal, the writing is amazing, and Dex is so lovable. It's also been Emmy and Golden Globe nominated.

I'm begging you to check this show out. It's on Showtime and it just finished its third season, but it's very easy to find online.

Other recommendations are 30 Rock, HIMYM, Criminal Minds, and True Blood.

Definitly try Grey#'s Anatomy it is my favourite show.
And Criminal Minds is a really good one especially if you love CSI. Also Bones is really good, again good if you like CSI :)

Ok I loooove from yours Sex and the city, Seinfeld, Friends and Csi!
But my top favourites are: Doctor Who, Heroes, Pushing Daisies and Coupling UK!
How I met your mother, Scrubs, House and Cold Case are really great shows too!!!

If you like sitcoms, What I Like About You is halarious, and it happens to be my favorite show. If you're more into dramas anything on Fox is really good, like 24, Fringe, House, Bones, etc. (I've never actually seen those shows cuz unlike you I'm obsessed with One Tree Hill and that takes up all my TV watching time, but I've heard they are addicting lol)! You know you could also go on TV Guide.com and search for every genre of television that is currently on the air - they actually have show dates and times that you can print out. Hope that helps!

P.S. I'm just wondering what you have against teen soaps. You say there's a lot of sex, but you like Sex and the City, which has s-e-x in its title...

well it seems you like old sitcoms, which is good on you, I love them too.

Frasier is an amazing show, on a similar wavelength as Seinfeld.

I would recomend 30 Rock as a comedy show to watch now, its very good and always leaves me laughing for a few days afterwards. How I met your Mother I have been beginning to try and also seems like a very good show.

As for drama I see you like crime/ mystery so in that case I would try Bones out, and well I can't leave a comment about shows you should watch without mentioning House. Its my favourite show and has an amazing amount of depth to the characters, that you won't find with many shows.

HIMYM was the first one I thought of after you listed your favourites. You could try Arrested Development as well.

...but if you ever change your mind about the teen thing, I'd suggest Freaks and Geeks: so awkward!
