If you grew up in the 90's you've gotta read this!!!

Anybody under the age of 13 should not read this.

Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.

It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You're a 90's kid if:

You remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain , and Two Stupid Dogs.

AAAAAAAH real monsters.

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!

You just cant resist finishing this... "Iiiiiiin west philladelphia born and raised..."

You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World.

You remember when, 2Pac and Selena died.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not...

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record "Your FAVORITE song of ALL time"

Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? was both a game and a TV game show.

Captain Planet. He's a Hero.

You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together.

You remember when super nintendo's and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos... but never taped anything funny.

You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3........and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

You remember watching The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, and Reading Rainbow on PBS.

You remember when Yomega Yo-Yos were cool.

when you were grown up when you turned 7, cuz you could watch are you afraid of the dark because it was tvY7!

You remember those Where's Waldo books..

You remember when Mortal Kombat Was "Da Bomb"!

U remember eating Warheads.(those sour candys)

You remember watching the 1st Batman, Aladin, Ninja Turtles, and 3 Ninjas movies.

U remember Ring Pops.

U remember drinkin' Fruitopia and Surge.

if you memeber when every thing was "da BOMB"

when they made the new lunchables so that you could make tacos and pizza!!

You remember boom boxes vs. cd players

Writing M.A.S.H. notes. (and the twenty different versions of that)

Making those little paper fortune cookie things.. and then predicting your life with them.

You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell"

You played and/or collected "Pogs"

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere

...Furbies.

You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet.

And Windows 95 was the best.

You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers, and Ninja Turtles.

You had a favorite New Kid on the block, and you knew all of there names

Michael Jordan was a king.

Yikes pencils and erasers were the stuff!

All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand.(pencils.notebooks.binders.etc.)

You remember when the new Beanie Babies and talking Elmo were always sold out.

You collected those Beanie Babies.

Growing Pains.

Carebears and The Gummy Bear show.

Gak was the coolest thing invented.

Lambchop's song never ended.

The old dollar bills.

Silver dollars, were cool that have.

You remember a time before the WB.

You collected all the Troll dolls wiht the bright hair

You owned a portable tape player.

If you even know what an original walkman is.

You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.

You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

You know the Macarena by heart.

"Talk to the hand" ... enough said

You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"

You know the significance of the number 23.

You went to McD's to play in the playplace.

You remember playing on merry go rounds...at the play ground.

When we were younger:

Before the MySpace frenzy...

Before the Internet & text messaging...

Before Sidekicks & iPods...

Before MIKE JONES...

Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX...

Before Sponge Bob

When light up sneakers were cool.

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.

When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.

When we recorded stuff on VCRs .

When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans.

When 2Pac and Biggie where alive.

When the Chicago Bulls were the best team ever.

Way back.

when it was all about Nintendo64.

when you had a wind breaker w/bright colored sleeves

when you collected pokemon cards

Before we realized all this would eventually disappear

Who would have thought you'd miss the 90's so much!!!!!

I was born in 1994 so had six conscious years of the nineties. I'm guessing that the first two years or so of the noughties were similar to the nineties because I do remember some of this stuff.

I was born in '91 so I remember alot of this stuff, although I think quite alot of it must just have been in America because I drew a blank on a few.
I'd completely forgotten about saying 'NOT' after every sentence. I used to do that all the time!

Oregon Trail Day in computer class was THE BEST! I used to play it on the library computer too..There was always a line of kids waiting for it after school!
Slam books & MASH notes..
NKOTB..Tiffany..Debbie Gibson (I had the black hat!)..Saved by the Bell every Sat AM..Cell Phones were as big as VCR's and only ppl like Donald Trump had them!
"Total Phone" was the thing to have when you were in Middle School..

I was 14 when 1991 rolled around so I was actually old when a lot of this stuff came along. Like Goosebumps & all that stuff.

I was in the prime for NKOTB and that era of the 90's though.

I had a Columbia windbreaker w/ the bright colored sleeves. Columbia jackets were the thing to have when I was in Middle School, so were LL Bean Jackets & those rugby looking shirts with BENNETON across the middle, the store The Limited was big & The Gap was all the rage too..The clothing brand was called "Outback Red" by The Limited. Everyone in 6, 7, 8th grades had shirts & shorts of that brand. Guess jeans too. Keds were big.

I was born in 1990, so this is bringing back memories..major.
I shall mark off the list. xD

So sorry for the long comment, but I can't resist. My birthday was yesterday and I turned 18. I'm missing my childhood. The 90's was the best.

-I loved Doug, Ren & Stimpy and Two Stupid Dogs. Didn't care much for Pinky and the Brain, although I remember it quite well.
-AAAAAH Real Monsters, AWESOME.
-I said "Psyche". A lot. Can't forget the "NOT!".
-Dinosaurs! <333
-Saturday morning cartoons was pure gold. Anyone remember FUDGE!!??
-Oregon Trail day? I can't remember D:
-Goosebumps!!! <3. I loved the shows.
-Plastic cartoon lunch boxes, now that was my time. I had a pink Minnie Mouse lunch box. :D
I miss it, too. Hahaha.
-I actually got into Slap Bracelets pretty late.. :o
-LOL, oh man. Recording radio songs, that was so me. I still have the N*Sync songs on the tapes.
-Carmen San Diego. Memories, memories, memories..
-Captain PLANET! He's a Hero, gonna take pollution down to ZERO. Ha <3
-I wanted to be Kimberly the Pink Ranger.
-I wanted a Nintendo so bad. I couldn't get one. I remember going on a trip to Six Flags and in the hotel room they had one there. I wanted to stay and play it instead of riding the rides. xD
-I used to watch The Magic School Bus in school. Wishbone was my favorite! They still play it now. Reading Rainbow <3. I loved the part where the kids talked about books. :D
-Are You Afraid of the Dark, I MISS THAT SHOW. They should bring it back. Now.
-I didn't have a Waldo book. >.>
-Mortal Kombat was my favoriteee. :D
-OMG, WARHEADS. YES.
-Ring Pops <3
-I don't remember Fruitopia or Surge :/. Fruitopia sounds familiar..
-Lunchables was amazing, but they don't top Dunkaroo's. Anyone remember Dunkaroo's? the cookies you dipped in icing. I. Loved. Those.
-Boom Boxes <333333333 I still have one.
-I wrote M.A.S.H notes all day long in school.
-Paper Fortune cookies, oh man. I made one of those a few months back. xD
-I never really watched Saved By The Bell when I was a kid. I watch it a lot now though.
-I can't remember Pogs. :[
-I had a Tamagotchi and a GigaPet. I can't remember Nano. I also remember that one with the Baby. You would get a little pixel boy or girl or something. I can't explain it. This was pre-parenthood for all of us, lol.
-I want a Furby so bad. I had about 20 of them when I was a kid. I would get annoyed and stop playing with them. Then I would watch Gremlins and say how cute Gizmo was, and got another one the next day.
-I had Lisa Frank EVERYTHING.
-I still have my beanie baby collection.
-I used to come in from playing outside to watch Aladdin, then Dinosaurs, then Growing Pains. :D
-I don't remember Gak..
-Lambchops was OLDSCHOOL. Well, for me. I loved it.
-I had a silver dollar. :D
-Yeah, I remember the troll dolls, I just never got one. My teachers had them on their desks.
-Macarena was the orginial. Now it's Soulja Boy. Gag me with a chainsaw.
-McD's slide was greatttt.
-I loved the Merry Go Rounds <3
-And Pokemon cards, I collected those. Only because I thought I could sell them when I got old and get rich.

I have only one problem. Why wasn't The Baby Sitters Club (tv show) and Fast Forward in this? Those were my favorite Disney shows. Along with Adventures In Wonderland. Disney shows now aren't the same. Also Nick shows aren't. The original All That, Pete and Pete, Wild and Crazy Kids..

Okay, I'm done.

"...on the playground is where I spend most of my days" XD Sorry, but I HAD to finish that line! Anyway, the 90s were the best. I was born in '94, though, so I don't remember the SNES, but I watched almost EVERY cartoon on Nickelodeon. Especially Hey Arnold! That was my favorite. I am an avid gamer, so DON'T say that I don't remember the PSOne. My first game console. I never collected Pokemon cards, but I remember that a lot of my old class mates collected them. XD at the part with the Macarena!!! I remember doing that all the time at my old schools. I've never owned light-up sneakers, but I DO remember those. Yeah, corinelove, now that you mention it, I miss Warheads SOOO much. Windows 95 was the beginning of something new, back then. I wasn't (and still am not) a big sports fan, so I don't have memories of those. Not a big fan of hip-hop, either. Dang... I could go on, and on about how much I miss the 90s, even if I don't remember the best parts of those years that have just gone by.
