What? You say Donald Trump hasn't called you back? Your resume is looking a bit weak? Not a problem! You now have a chance to compete on the reality TV show "The Apprentice," without even leaving your house.

I had a chance to test drive the new Apprentice game for Legacy Interactive, and must say that I loved it. (And just in case you're wondering, I wasn't a huge fan of the first Apprentice game.) Game play includes some of the best features in casual gaming. Select your avatar and teamates from some tough competitors, and get your mouse-clicking finger ready. NPC bios are detailed and entertaining. Eish, is anyone else developing an inferiority complex?
Ok, moving on...

Your first task - run a trendy sushi bar. Keep customers happy while taking orders, preparing dishes, and serving tea and cake. You don't need to be a geisha, but you do need speed! If you've mastered that, it's on to an up-market woman's boutique, and a California surf shop. Be prepared for over 50 challenging levels, each more difficult than the last. And, wow, I can attest, it can get pretty crazy when those customers start pouring in!

Gulp. So, what happens if you mess up? It's to the boardroom for you! Pick two teammates, and compete in a fast-paced, card matching memory game to see who gets FIRED. Just a hint...don't bother as much with small matches. Go for the big +200 and +100 pointers to really get your point across to Mr. Trump. Pssst...if you do lose, you can continue where you left off, so you don't need to start from the beginning. It seems the game is a lot more forgiving than Mr. Trump himself.

On the topic of the big man himself, anyone else thing he must be really bored? He's done it all, expect run for President. Hmmm...

If you survive the competition, be prepared for the ultimate challenge. A formal celebrity banquet - and you're running the show. There's no margin for error, so you better act quickly and think on your feet. Geez, no pressure or anything...now I know why I didn't major in business!

The addictive factor - high. I couldn't put the game down until 2am this morning. The graphics and music (from the TV show) are great fun, too. I was really looking forward to this release for months, and the end result does not dissapoint. If you're a fan of time management games, service games, or the TV show, this is really one not to miss!

You can download a free demo version of the game, thanks to Legacy games:
