They DID make The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and they DID make Prince Caspian. They are currently filming Voyage of the Dawn Treader. As for the Silver Chair and The Last Battle, we can only hope and see what the future is to bring.

Actually, it's not that easy. It all depends on the actors. Some actors (for example William Moseley) may not want to continue or they could even be too old to play the part that they once played. Sure we have technology, but it just wouldn't be the same.
