OMG. Aslan save us all.
Numerous sources are reporting that once again, another writer has stepped in to write the script for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie. The newest choice will come as a surprise to many. Author Stephenie Meyer, the woman behind the New York Times Best Selling series Twilight, has been tapped to take the latest crack at the story.

“She can help bring a lot of fresh ideas to the table,” says one source. “She can also help bring in audience members. People know who she is far more then CS Lewis.”

“Lewis represents the ideas of the past,” says a second source. “Meyer represents the future. This is the perfect blending.”

There is a bit of concern that some aspects of her books, namely vampires, may find their way into Narnia. However sources close to Michael Apted and Douglas Gresham insist that both men will work tirelessly to rein her in properly.

“There will be no sparkly vampires in in my movie,” said Apted. “And Edward Cullen won’t be in Dawn Treader either.”

Voyage of the Dawn Treader isn’t the only major fantasy film that studios are wanting Meyer to take help adapt. She is current is in talks to take over screen writing duties from Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Guillermo Del Toro on The Hobbit, while Warner Brothers is keen to have her work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.

“She will help make these stories so much better!” says one insider. “ Lewis and Tolkien may have been the kings of fantasy, but Stephenie Meyer is the reigning queen.”

I did not write this article. NarniaFans did. I would have provided a link instead, but fanpop wouldn't let me submit it for some reason...so I had to do it this way.

BTW, I added a little something to the article. Notice how certain letters are in bold font? Take all those letters and write them down, then tell me what you find. ;-) Happy code-cracking!

Well I like Twilight but I don't think Meyer is the best choice for this.

I'm really glad that's a joke. The Twilight 'saga' was sickening and overrated.
