Numerous sources are reporting that once again, another writer has stepped in to write the script for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie. The newest choice will come as a surprise to many. Author Stephenie Meyer, the woman behind the New York Times Best Selling series Twilight, has been tapped to take the latest crack at the story.
“She can help bring a lot of fresh ideas to the table,” says one source. “She can also help bring in audience members. People know who she is far more then CS Lewis.”
“Lewis represents the ideas of the past,” says a second source. “Meyer represents the future. This is the perfect blending.”
There is a bit of concern that some aspects of her books, namely vampires, may find their way into Narnia. However sources close to Michael Apted and Douglas Gresham insist that both men will work tirelessly to rein her in properly.
“There will be no sparkly vampires in in my movie,” said Apted. “And Edward Cullen won’t be in Dawn Treader either.”

“They could see that it was a tall girl, dressed in a single long garment of clear blue which left her arms bare. She was bare-headed and her yellow hair hung down her back. And when they looked at her, they thought they had never before known what beauty meant.” –The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Starlight
He could never clearly describe how he fell in love with her. It was too wonderfully strange to explain; something that couldn't quite fit into human words.
All he knew is that when he saw her, he saw her. It was as though someone had pulled back a curtain and granted him a glimpse of something inside, behind and beyond what his five senses told him. Whenever she looked at him, he forgot all about her golden hair and slender figure...for what he saw in her dazzled him far more than mere physical attraction could.

Barbara Kellerman as 'The Lady of Green Kirtle' and as 'The White Witch' from the BBC TV series, 1989 – 1990.

Some readers believe that the White Witch and the Lady of The Green Kirtle are the same person. So before you disregard it, keep in mind that it is a possibility. Their are arguments for both sides. First off, two witches are mentioned by name in the Narnian books, the White Witch (Jadis, empress of Charn, or the "White Lady") and the Lady of the Green Kirtle (or "the Green Lady"). Long after Lewis's death, character sketches appeared in later editions of the books that seem to indicate that these two witches are the same, but these are not according to the author C.S. Lewis.
Proof that they are they same person - Jadis was never killed until in The Silver Chair. She appears in three of the Chronicles of Narnia books. This quote is from the Silver Chair, it's talking about The Queen of the Underland. ..."That this Lady of yours must be a long liver too, if she remembers the verse as it was when they first cut it."... just like the White Witch was there when the stone table was. The White Witch is sweet and kind to Edmund at first, just as the Lady of Kirtle is to Eustace and Jill. And they both want to rule Narnia. Some think that Jadis is the last Queen of...
