RANSFORD DOHERTY is one of the few actors pulling double duty these days in Hollywood, popping up regularly on two hit television crime-dramas: as Kendall, the Coroner’s Investigator on TNT’s “The Closer” and as Detective Tim Bell on ABC’s “Body of Proof.”

Well TNT has been thinking about continuing the series without Brenda, which is an absolutely horrid idea. But I probably would still watch the show. So here are some possible names.

If Sanchez stars....

The Guy Who Likes to Use Excessive Force, The Pounder, The Shooter, The Translator, The Gang Expert, The Shouter, The Guy Who's Really Tough But Cries Sometimes and Has a Big Heart.

If Gabriel stars (totally bad idea cuz I do not like him at all).....

I love this show. Love her character, love the supporting cast.

But as a woman who spent twenty years trying to break into the entertainment industry, I find it frustrating to see a show that has one...ONE lleading lady and six...SIX men. In the beginning there where two women, though Daniels didnt get a whole lot of screen time...she did get as much as the others. She's gone now, and the Closer resembles a Shakesperian play. One woman among a cast of a thousand men.

Corey Reynolds will be donating his time to help a non-for-profit theatre in Los Angeles. Corey will be host a benefit for the Third Street Theatre on Saturday, May 5th. He is super cool!

A federal lawsuit against Brenda heats up in the wake of a murder. As Brenda's lawyer (Mark Pellegrino) goes to court for her, Brenda turns to a businessman (Jason George) for help in cracking the murder case.
