1. Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert provided the voices for the Ambiguously Gay Duo, the TV Funhouse show that was on SNL. Listen to the voices while watching a clip, and see whether you identify who is speaking for Ace and Gary.
2. Though Fonda's makeout with Colbert was distinctive, her sitting on his lap wasn't. Gillian Anderson once sat on Jon Stewart's lap for a Daily Show promo. Of course, they knew each other well, acting as a couple in the movie "Playing by Heart".
3. Stephen Colbert wants the capital of Wisconsin to be changed from Madison to Stevens Points (an actual city in WI). This was revealed when Ben Karlin, ex-producer of the Daily Show and Colbert Report, gave a talk at UW-Madison (where he had attended). Ben Karlin also used to be a writer for the 'news'paper The Onion.
4. During Samantha Bee's reporting of the controversy involving congressional pages, she showed two photos: one of a smart, dedicated National Merit Scholar, and one of a (hot, muscled, sweaty) "congressional page". The 'scholar' was a friend of mine, who was interning at the Daily Show at the time.
