Can ‘The Daily Show’ Survive the Barack Obama Presidency?

"How we gonna make this shit funny?" Jon Stewart plaintively asked last night on The Daily Show. And it's a good question. The end of the election campaign won't doom The Daily Show. The Barack Obama presidency just might.

I mean yeah, Bush really didn't make it hard to think of ways to make fun of him and that made the show funny. But have you seen some of the people in politics, Blagoavitch, Elliot Spitzer, Larry Craig, Rush Limbaugh...people like that will keep shows like Stewart's running forever. posted 5 months ago.
