Were you annoyed when Andy gave ALL the clothes she got from Paris to Emily?

Well she sold them in the book, so the lack of book/movie continuity annoyed me more

She was just paying back for the fact that she left to Paris and not Emily.

yes i was annoyed. emily was horrible to her, and those were really nice clothes.

The only thing I don't like about this movie is that it's basically saying you can only be one way. Be the stylish, chic, rude, annoying, self-absorbed Andy, or be the gawky, awkward, odd, not beautiful, and not fashionable or sociable at all Andy. You can be all the good things (and of course, some of the bad), if you want to. It's a choice. Not an ultimatum. Andy could've easily stayed in the fashion business, gone far, been successful, brought her friends and family to fame, been fashionable and beautiful, and had a great life. Oh, and kept those designer clothes instead of giving them to Emily ;-)
